Turning off a journey now stops queued sends

Turning off a journey now stops queued sends — Yada Journeys product update

Deactivating a journey now stops the people already moving through it, not just future enrollments. In-flight executions are cancelled when the workflow is turned off, giving the switch the immediate behavior teams expect.

  • New contacts can no longer enter a deactivated journey

  • Existing in-flight enrollments are cancelled at deactivation

  • Queued steps check cancellation state before a message is sent

  • Teams can stop an automation without waiting for its current audience to finish
